Columbia Revises Sudan Divestment List

The Trustees of Columbia University, under the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Socially Responsible Investing, recently announced that Columbia's Sudan Divestment List will be revised to remove six companies and add six companies previously not marked for divestment. The Advisory Committee on Socially Responsible Investing

The SRI Website was created so that Columbia affiliates (students, faculty, alumni, and staff) might learn about the Advisory Committee on Socially Responsible Investing and its mission and keep informed of the Committee's agenda. The SRI Website enables Columbia affiliates to submit their views on the University's ethical and social responsibilities as an investor and to comment on the issues that the Committee may consider. Please note that the final decisions on these matters rest with the University Trustees.
