Using WebSAF for Add-Comp Payments

Class Length: 1.5 hours

Course Description

The Additional Compensation (Add-Comp) sub-module of WebSAF enables departments to request certain payment transactions (bonuses, make-up pay, special pay) for officer-level employees (only).  It is assumed that you already know how to use the WebSAF tool (used for basic payroll accounting activities).

** Completion of this course is REQUIRED before you will be given access to view, create or approve Add-Comp transactions in WebSAF. You also have the OPTION of taking this class ON-LINE.  To learn about the Add-Comp E-Class, click on this link

After completing the class, please also submit an updated Combined DAF/FFE Application.

Note: Using WebSAF for Payroll Accounting is a prerequisite for this class.  View WebSAF Manual.  It is also recommended (but not required) you also take CU Financial Accounting Overview prior to this class.

(For complete directions on how to complete the Online Editable "Paper" SAF form, please refer to the People@Columbia Transaction Information Guide (TIG))

Presented by John Benson or Jerry Boak
