Each department is responsible for maintaining records of actual time worked for support staff and for maintaining records of days off for officers. These records must be maintained by the department to determine overtime pay for support staff and to verify sick leave, personal days, and vacation allowances for both support staff and officers. Performance Management The Finance division’s performance evaluation process has been developed in support of a number of important University goals: to establish an ongoing dialogue and to strengthen the partnership between managers and employees, to promote continuous improvement by fostering individual and organizational excellence, and to assist in human resources decisions. Performance evaluation should be a continuous process throughout the year, with a formal performance appraisal conducted for all officers semi-annually (May and December).
