Who we are:
The Financial Reporting and Operations team is responsible for preparing the University’s quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as annual reports for the University’s benefit plans, and other audited financial statements. Included in these responsibilities are:
- The integrity and compliance of the data within the University’s Financial Accounting System (FAS).
- The accuracy and timeliness of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial period closings.
- The maintenance and modification of the University’s Chart of Accounts.
- Setting up system access for the Departmental Authorization Function (DAF) and the Financial Front End (FFE and FinSys).
- Customer service and support to all areas within the Finance Division and throughout the University community.
- Accounting and reporting functions related to University investment, capital and debt transactions.
We are accountable to the Trustees and the Audit Committee.
