Integrating Systems Reports
As of July 2012, many older financial systems were replaced by ARC. However, the PAC and FINSYS/FFE systems used prior to 2012 remain available. They can be accessed from People @ Columbia (PAC)
PAC is the customized version of PeopleSoft that integrates and processes all Human Resources and Payroll transactions for Columbia University. Functions within PAC include:
• View Employee Information
• Initiate new hire and rehire transactions electronically
• Labor Accounting
Although PAC does not have an actual reporting function, users with PAC and payroll accounting (PAD) access can find salary information in the Data Warehouse by going to the my.columbia>DWR Reports tab (see Legacy Reports for more information). Users can also find PAC derived payroll and employee reports in the Payroll Reports section of FDS.
FinSyS/FFE (Financial Front End)
FinSys/FFE is comprised of modules that facilitate certain types of transactions and some limited reporting. FFE is a desktop-based application that supports the Support Staff Time Entry process, and FinSys is the web version (accessed from the my.columbia portal) that houses the Budget Tool and Cash module.

For details on how to access FFE, please visit the download instructions on CUIT's website.
For access, please complete the Financial Systems Security Application
Since the transactional data generated from these modules feeds into the ARC General Ledger, reporting for these modules is mainly conducted in the Financial Data Store (FDS) reports.
